Method of Application
Admission into the University of Buea is competetive and based on selection from the pool of admissions applications that are received from applicants. Application packages normally go on sale in early August. Application packages are available at the University of Buea and at the following Presbook bookshops: BUEA, LIMBE, KUMBA, MAMFE, BAMENDA, KUMBO, DOUALA, TIKO AND YAOUNDE.
Undergraduate Admission
Applicants may obtain the application package after paying a non-refundable processing fee of 10.000 FCFA into one of the University's accounts at BICEC BUEA, SCB/CL LIMBE or BANK ATLANTIQUE LIMBE. The original receipt from any of these banks can be exchanged for the application package at any of the distribution centres.
Before completing forms, applicants are advised to read carefully through the information leaflet and instructions for filling the OMR forms enclosed in the application package.
Applicants awaiting G.C.E. 'A' Level and Baccalaureate results may also apply. They do not need to wait until the results are published. However, they are reminded that it is their responsibility to furnish the University with their results when they are published.
Postgraduate Admission
Applicants may obtain the application package after paying a non-refundable processing fee of 20.000 FCFA into one of the University's accounts at BICEC BUEA, SCB/CL LIMBE or BANK ATLANTIQUE LIMBE. The original receipt from any of these banks can be exchanged for the application package at any of the distribution centres.
