Vision

The Faculty of Arts aspires to be a dynamic media of cultural renaissance in Cameroon and the sub-region that fosters time-honoured values of the Arts and Humanities and prepares students for creativity and service within a mobilised economy. Consequently, by 2015, the Faculty of Arts hopes to serve as a national, regional and local resource centre in the areas of interest to it. This vision therefore links both the environmental and cultural domains of the university setting and to the needs and demands of national and international markets.

  4. Closely link research and teaching
  5. Closely relate teaching, learning and research to local and national realities
  6. Contribute to the development of policies in areas of research in the Faculty
  7. Serve as a national, regional and local resource centre in areas of interest to the Faculty.
