Duties
The Office of Academic Affairs is charged with questions relating to teaching, research, evaluation of systems of teaching and students. Hence, the office is responsible for problems relating to:
- Teaching programs, questions relating to course examinations and teaching methods
- Evaluation of teaching and academic staff
- Award of degrees and other university grades
- Evaluation of faculties, schools, institutes, departments, and other academic units
- Scientific, technological, and pedagogical research
- Development of faculties, schools, and colleges of the university, notably those concerned with the creation of new programmes and diplomas
- Problems with regard to the career of teaching staff
